In the never-ending “game” of trying to improve your credit score, all mistakes that are made along the way are not equal. There are many mistakes that can easily be avoided if you know how to detect them. Some of the biggest mistakes you can make can cause your credit score to drop by a significant amount, so you need to know when to use caution. If your credit score does drop, it can seriously effect your ability to receive credit. Even if you do get approved for credit, typically, a low credit score will result in stricter limitations or unfavorable loan terms with your new credit account. One of these big mistakes is to try and apply for several different credit accounts or loans, within a very short time frame.
