Do you find yourself cursing your employer under your breath? Do you feel under appreciated? Under paid? And Over worked? Can you admit to doing just enough work to not get the sack and no more than you have to? Have you ever felt like you spend more time at work than you do with your friends and family? I have been there, feeling stuck in a job with not much prospects. I felt as though I was becoming my job, my life revolved around it. If I wanted to take a day off I would have to book it. If I wanted to go on holiday I would have to ask if I was able to do so. I felt as though I had left school as a child and went back to school as an adult. I mean we literally had a register to sign at the place I worked and if you were late you had to go and see the headmaster, I mean manager and explain why and write a small report explaining what you would do to make sure that it wouldn’t happen again. I had enough of being underpaid and over parented and decided to begin working for myself. I have listed these four reasons as my own personal motivations.
